Where's the Rainbow in Rome?

Rome doesn’t have one unique “gayborhood,” and that’s exactly what makes exploring it more fun. LGBTQ+ life here isn’t confined to one street or square; it’s scattered across feminist bookshops, disco-lit bars, indie cinemas, intimate aperitivi, and queer festivals.

Join our Slack Community, where queer members and allies love trading tips on places to unwind after work or dive into the city’s queer cultural pulse.

So where do you go when you want something more than a tourist bar near Colosseum area? Which places are openly queer, and which are just queer-friendly with great vibes? And what’s actually worth your night out when the Tiber starts to shimmer at dusk?

Let’s walk through Rome’s LGBTQ+ scene, one neighborhood (and one community-approved hangout) at a time.
