A Week in Rome for Digital Nomads and Remote Workers: Work, Wander, Repeat.
Rome isn’t just ruins and rigatoni. It’s a low-key powerhouse for digital nomads and remote workers who want their week to swing between deep work, good coffee, and nights that somehow end with live music or a language exchange. If your ideal schedule includes coworking with a side of culture, this one’s for you.
Here’s your week mapped out: Monday to Sunday, laptop-friendly spots, evening escapes, and just enough structure to keep your projects (and your social life) on track.

Monday
Start strong. Coaster Coworking has the essentials: fast Wi-Fi, plenty of desks, and a solid chance of seeing the Colosseum on your lunch break. Later, you’ve got options: Vinyasa yoga in Villa Celimontana with Loli, or head to Caffè Letterario for the Monday night Linguistic Tandem starting at 19:30.
Tuesday
Creative Tuesday vibes. Begin in Trastevere at Zalib: part café, part local hub, part "did I just join a film club?". It’s casual, caffeinated, and full of freelancers. When you’re ready for a visual upgrade, hit the Chiostro del Bramante café. Yes, that’s a fresco over your Zoom call! Round out the day with Cinema in Piazza at San Cosimato. The lineup? Indie and cult favorites, under the stars.
Wednesday
Midweek = deep work. Casadante cafè in Esquilino brings the focus. Coffee is good, the vibe even better. Cap the day with rooftop yoga overlooking the Colosseum (Loli again, she’s got a thing for epic views), or keep it simple with an aperitivo in Barberini.

Thursday
Soft launch over the weekend. Materia in San Giovanni is pure calm: minimal interiors, well-selected art around, max concentration. Later, post up at Office 21 near Piazza Navona for a distraction-free afternoon. As evening hits, Monte Ciocci or Parco della Cervelletta are screening movies al fresco. Blankets are encouraged, as are snacks.
Friday
Finish line in sight. Start at The Forum in Pigneto. It’s a cozy mix of café and coworking that delivers productivity. Post-lunch, take the bus 81 and wander through Campo dei Fiori for people-watching, vintage browsing, and a snack. When the laptops close, it's time for some food & drinks in the company of your digital nomad crew.
Saturday
You’ve earned this. If you’re craving saltwater, catch the train to Santa Marinella or Santa Severa, an hour from Rome, but far from your inbox.
Prefer to keep it urban? Villa Borghese has bikes, shade, art sketching, and enough green space to forget you’re in a capital city. End the day back at Monte Ciocci with a movie, a bottle of something chilled, and that skyline.

Sunday
Low-power mode. Brunch at Pimm’s in Centro Storico. Afterwards, wander the classics: Pantheon, Spanish Steps, probably a gelato (or two). Still hot? Pool day. Still motivated? Congrats, you’re in the minority. Ease into the evening in Piazza del Popolo, and have one last spritz nearby for the week. It’s practically a Roman requirement!
